Children’s Ministry is a vital foundation for nurturing the faith, character, and calling of the next generation. EPC Kids Ministry offers a structured, Christ-centred environment where children are introduced to the truths of the Bible and guided into a personal relationship with God.

 

At the heart of our Kids Ministry is Sunday School—a space not only for learning but for discipleship, mentoring, and spiritual transformation. Through systematic, age-appropriate teaching, children grow in their understanding of Scripture while developing strong moral values and a Christlike character. As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Inspired by biblical role models like Samuel, Daniel, Esther, and Timothy, children are encouraged to live with purpose, integrity, and boldness. Our ministry supports the holistic development of each child—spiritually, emotionally, morally, and relationally—equipping them to thrive in all areas of life.

​Scripture School/Sunday school

​Our Scripture School welcomes children from age 3 through Year 12, offering well-structured classes every Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Around 150 children experience God’s Word through the carefully crafted Positive Action for Christ curriculum.

​

Our dedicated team of 40 teaching staff and passionate volunteers work closely with families to raise children who are deeply rooted in biblical truth and Christian values.

Kid’s Church

Every Sunday, we have Kids’ church, where children worship the Lord in the language they are most comfortable with—alongside the main congregation. This inclusive and engaging worship experience allows children to encounter God in a personal and meaningful way.

Holiday Programs

During school term breaks and summer holidays, we organise special holiday programs that are fun, faith-filled, and impactful. One of the highlights is our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS)—a popular, theme-based event held in April that usually runs for a week. Children from diverse ethnic backgrounds eagerly participate in this much-anticipated program each year. These events are largely led by our senior students, guided by Sunday School teachers and the Youth Group, giving them valuable opportunities to develop practical leadership, planning, and teamwork skills as they grow into the next generation of Christian leaders.

Ministry Training & Talent Development

Throughout the year, children are encouraged and equipped to serve in various ministry areas such as singing, playing instruments, preaching, and more. Sunday School children are taught and encouraged to serve and partner in God’s great commission by, organizing gospel tract distribution, street preaching, singing, fund-raising events, etc.  We are committed to helping each child discover and develop their God-given gifts—for the glory of God.

Online Bible Sessions

To complement our in-person gatherings, we also offer interactive online Bible sessions tailored to different age groups. These sessions help children dive deeper into Scripture and strengthen their faith in today’s digital world.

Kids Ministry has always been an integral part of our church’s mission. We believe that investing in children is investing in the future of the Church. Together with families, we aim to raise a generation that is grounded in truth, strong in character, and passionate for Christ.
